Welcome!
My research is focusing on Embodied AI, Working Memory for Development, Body Image and Visuomotor Control, Soft Robotics and Tactile Sensors.
Because "the body shapes the mind", we have to design smart robot bodies for smart AI brains.

short bio.
I am full professor at ETIS lab in France and responsible of the group on Neurocybernetics at CY Cergy Paris University/CNRS/ENSEA. Ex Chaire d'Excellence CNRS Cognitive Robotics and Maître de Conférences at CY Cergy Paris University (2011-2023). I did my Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo (2004-2007) on bio-inspired robotics and JST researcher between 2007 and 2011 on developmental robotics.
Full Professor at ETIS lab and group leader, team Neurocybernetics, at ENSEA, part of CY Alliance, Cergy Paris.
